Learn a different language

Kia Ora. This SLJ activity is called “learn a different language”. For this activity we have to watch the New Zealand Sign Language Alphabet video and then we get to play a memory game about Sign Language vowels. My favourite part of this activity was playing the game but it was a bit hard.

Have you ever played memory before?

Here is my memory screen shot:

  1. Kia ora Jack,
I can imagine the memory game would be hard as there is a lot of letters in the alphabet, but if you keep practicing I’m sure you will ace the game in no time.
Keep up the fabulous blog posts. Ka mau te wehi.

  2. Kia ora Jack,

It’s Simon here again from the Summer Learning Journey team. Great work on completing this task. It does look tricky. Ka pai!

It looks like you have done a great job and you have given it a good go. I have played memory before, but never to learn a new language. This is such a good idea. Did you give this a few tries? I need to give it a go.

I can’t wait to see what you post next.

    Ngā mihi,
    Simon (SLJ)

  3. Kia ora Jack,
I am very impressed with all of the activities you have done so far and the fact that you are trying new and interesting things.
Which activity has been your favourite so far?
